Your role as a member of Astia’s Clean Tech Committee will be four-fold.
Get the word out – Be a spokesperson for Astia. We look to our committee members to help us raise awareness in the entrepreneurial community for our services and success. We plan to continually serve larger numbers of companies and CEOs increasing and impacting the percentage of women-led deals. Sourcing – We look to Clean Tech Committee members to send us women-led deals for participation in our program and community of entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders. Even if you already plan to invest, we would like to be the place to showcase these women-led deals. This is to aid our lighthouse strategy of getting the message out to the market of the opportunity of women-led deals. Screening – We invite the Clean Tech Committee members to participate in our screening process, where relevant experience is present. This screening occurs year round. Committee members will also help us identify the appropriate individuals to support the highest quality screening process. Program – Currently Astia has two tracks of programs for companies, Technology and Life Science. In 2009 Astia intends to create and execute its program for entrepreneurs including a track for Clean Technology Companies. The Clean Tech Committee will provide the technical and investor expertise to create this program.
