Cellulosic Ethanol Technologies

Tuesday, April 22 2008, 8:00am - 10:00am

The first small commercial scale cellulosic ethanol plant in the US is just coming on line and many new technologies are being backed by VCs and the Govt. However, it still remains an unproven alternative to current ‘food-derived’ technologies. What are the factors that will drive full commercialization? And what technologies are likely to be most sustainable? Listen to a panel that includes active VC investors who have scanned the universe; startups that are closest to commercialization; and companies that are key enablers to commercialization.

Panelists to date:

Moderator, Andrea Cohen, Nixon Peabody

Eric Darmstaedter, ClearFuels
Jason Matlof, Battery Ventures
Hendrik Meerman, Cobalt Bio Buels
Bill Reichert, Garage Technology Ventures
Marianne Wu, Mohr Davidow
