President Barack Obama has promised massive government investments in a “new energy economy.” Congress, as well, has sought to address energy needs in several ways previously and has suggested future legislative activity to encourage energy development. With a projected economic stimulus plan of more than $850 billion, and possible other legislation, experts are predicting substantial government funding, or the creation of other benefits, for renewable energy.
How can solar companies access those funds or take advantage of other opportunities? How will this effect venture investments in solar companies? What should investors and solar companies do to prepare for the coming legislation, and implementing policies and regulations?
