BVCA presents CEO Awards 2009

Following on from the BVCA Summit 2009, in the evening the BVCA will host its CEO Awards Dinner, which will be a culmination of the heats throughout the UK in the run up to this. 

The regional heats will have included the following five categories:

PE CEO of the Year

VC CEO of the Year

Best Investment/Exit

Best Corporate Responsibility

Best International Impact

In addition, the final national awards dinner in London will also include the following three awards:

CEO of the Year – Hall of Fame

Best Newcomer

Major impact on an industry CEO

Full members of the BVCA are invited to nominate CEOs of their portfolio companies.  Nominations are restricted to one CEO per category per region.

Following the nomination process, Manchester Business School will compile a shortlist of three candidates per category per region.  A panel of independent judges will be dedicated to deciding the winners of the awards for each region. The judging panels will include senior private equity professionals, CBI leaders, representatives of Dow Jones, pre-eminent CEOs and advisers.
