At this panel session, future trends for business and the future of India's & China's emerging economies will be discussed.
Also, this event will be discussing entrepreneurial experience in China, India, and UK by inviting entrepreneurs from Chinese and Indian background as well as those that have done business in both countries to talk about their experiences.
Points discussed will be such as the experience of setting up a business in China or India, government regulations, cultural influence on budding entrepreneurs in China and India and which country is better suited to developing independent business? What are the reasons for that?
Confirmed panel speakers:
Arun Aggarwal, VP, Head of Consulting - EMEA, Tata Consultancy Services.
He is the Head of Consulting at Tata Consultancy Services where he is responsible for the development and management of the business and IT consultancy services offered across all sectors by TCS in Europe, complementing the IT and BPO services. TCS is India's largest IT services company with over 40,000 employees and $2billion turnover. Additionally, Arun is a Non-Executive Director of Patsystems Plc, an AIM listed provider of trading software to the financial services industry.
Martin Bloom, Managing Director, Emblem Technology Partners, Founder Member of China Advisers Network
Martin Bloom, a former corporate strategist at Unilever and with 25 years experience in strategic partnering, technology commercialization and business strategy, is an active and successful private venture capitalist investing in technology companies in both the UK and the US.
Martin is actively involved with India and China, and in the past few years has spent a quarter of his time in China. Martin has a B.Sc. (Soc.Sc.) Honours in Economics from the University of Southampton and an M.Sc. in the History of Science jointly from Imperial College and University College, London.
Moderator: Roy Graff, Managing Director, ChinaContact, Founder Member of China Advisers Network
Roy has been immersed in Asian business and culture since 1994 and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. He launched ChinaContact in 2005 after working in Shanghai and Beijing for three years and focuses his consultancy practice on China's tourism and hospitality sectors.
