Social networking is a relatively new marketing phenomenon, which has become too pervasive to ignore. Everyone (and every company) needs to utilize some aspect of social networking as part of their marketing strategy. There are hundreds of social networking sites and activities. Which ones do you need to use? How you can use them? What can you do with them? What you should not do! Can you measure your ROI?

What you do not know can hurt you. We will discuss appropriate approaches to social networking based on your short-term goals and long-term strategy. Learn the effective ways of utilizing sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter for state-of-the-art marketing.

About the Speaker:


Tim Bailey is the President of Alliance-Strategies; Inc. Alliance-Strategies grows revenues for clients through business development, channel development, and solution marketing utilizing all aspects of networking and social media. Tim has over 20 years of experience with high-tech products and services worldwide with companies of all sizes. Tim has led workshops for social networking, alliances, and negotiations for organizations that include the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, ASAP roundtable, SDForum, and others 

As a management consultant, Tim’s clients have included Open Market, CoCreate, SGI, Intel, Timbre, Semi-Conductor Tooling Service, Dassault Systemes, and Hewlett Packard. Previously, Tim served as the Director, Worldwide Business Development for Hewlett Packard, Director, Worldwide Solution Marketing for SGI, and Vice President, Mechanical Systems for Computervision.  Early in his professional career, Tim founded Metagraphics, Inc. and raised over $10M to develop and market products worldwide. 

Mr. Bailey holds a MBA from Northeastern University; a MS in Computer Science, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; and a BS in Electrical Engineering fromVirginia Polytechnic Institute.
