Lisa has more than 20 years of financial management
experience in both emerging private entities as well as public
companies. Today, she focuses on providing CFO level financial
services to emerging technology companies which include assistance with
fundraising efforts, development of business plans, business modeling,
management reporting and general financial and business advisory
services.
Prior to starting her own consulting practice in 2007,
she was the CFO for Proofpoint, Inc. where she successfully raised $40M
in venture funding and guided the company to cash flow positive. Prior
to Proofpoint, she was the CFO at Fasturn Inc. where she led the
process to sell the company. As corporate controller at Documentum,
Inc. she created the financial infrastructure and systems to prepare
the company for a successful IPO in 1996. She has also held senior
financial management positions at emerging companies such as Banyan
Systems, and Shiva Corporation both of whom executed successful IPOs.
Lisa earned her CPA while serving for Ernst and Young in Boston and
graduated with honors from Bentley College in Massachusetts.
