DIRECTIONS: Exit I-680 at Crow Canyon Road. Take Crow Canyon east approximately one mile. Turn left at El Capitan / Tahiti Drive (there are two left turn lanes – stay in the one on the right). Take the first right to the guard gate. After checking in at the gate, take the third left turn (just past the tennis courts) into the clubhouse parking lot.

Marianne Wu, Partner, Mohr Davidow Ventures (www.mdv.com)

Marianne Wu brings a broad business and technology background to her role at MDV. She focuses on Cleantech investments. Prior to joining MDV, Marianne was vice president of marketing at ONI Systems where she was responsible for product strategy and market development. Earlier in her career, Marianne was a consultant at McKinsey and Company where she advised major technology clients on strategic and operational issues. Marianne has conducted state-of-the-art research in materials, devices, and systems at Stanford University and started her career as a design engineer at Nortel Networks where she developed high-speed networking technologies. She is a member of Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association (HYSTA) VC Group; Environmental Entrepreneurs and is on Advisory Committee of the Western Governors' Association. Marianne earned both her doctoral and master's degrees from the School of Engineering at Stanford University and her bachelor's in Applied Science at the University of British Columbia.

J. Christopher Moran, Vice President, Applied Ventures (www.applied-ventures.com)

Chris Moran is vice president, general manager, Applied Ventures since October 2005, responsible for the development and management of Applied Ventures' investments in early stage, privately held companies. Most recently, Mr. Moran served as vice president and division general manager of the Applied Materials Mask Products Division. Prior to that, Mr. Moran was vice president of Corporate Marketing from 1999-2005. Since joining Applied Materials in 1984, Mr. Moran has held a number of positions in division management, product management and marketing. He also served as general manager of the Metal Etch Division, Etch Product Business Group, and held a variety of engineering and product management positions. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Moran served as a member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft Co., and Atari Computer Corporation. Mr. Moran received his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Paul Chau, Partner, WI Harper (www.wiharper.com)

With over 18 years of private equity, consulting and technical experience, Mr. Chau is responsible for investments and portfolio management in cleantech and information technology companies in the U.S. Prior to joining WI Harper, Mr. Chau served as vice president at Walden International and handled investments and the management of existing portfolio companies. He also served as vice president at GIC Special Investment Private Ltd (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation), where he oversaw direct private equity and fund investments in the United States. Before joining GIC, Mr. Chau was a senior consultant with BARRA, a financial consulting company for pension funds and money management firms. He served as a member of the board of directors at DivX, USI Insurance Corporation and presently holds several directorships in various technology companies. Mr. Chau holds an M.B.A. from University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in electrical engineering from University of Canterbury.

Pete Henig, Managing Partner, Greenhouse Capital Partners (www.greenhousecapital.net)

Peter D. Henig, founder and Managing Partner with Greenhouse, has 8 years experience helping start and fund companies from pre-business plan and formative technology development levels through company expansion and successful liquidation events. A former veteran business journalist whose work has appeared in Red Herring, The Economist, and Venture Capital Journal, Mr. Henig currently sits on the Board of Directors of Renewable Fuel Products, Milo Media, and Linkage BioSciences, is a Board observer with MeeVee and InsideView, and was a founding angel investor in Solaicx, MobiTV, Aravo and Greenplum. Mr. Henig’s expertise covers emerging innovations in photovoltaic technologies, biofuels, and the application of ‘software as a service’ to the clean technology enterprise. Mr. Henig holds a BA in Economics from Georgetown University and an MA in Economics and Public Policy Analysis from Stanford University and is currently an advisor to several environmental non-profits including Forest Ethics, Pacific Environment, and the Emergency Response Studio.

Mark Harris, Relationship Manager, Silicon Valley Bank (www.svb.com)

Mark is a relationship manager with Silicon Valley Bank and is currently part of the Bank’s Cleantech Practice in Northern California. Mark has been with the Bank for over 8 years having worked with all types of clients: software, semiconductors and telecommunications ranging from early stage to post IPO. Prior experiences include working with a startup based out of San Francisco and several years at Anderson Consulting. Mark has a business degree from Pepperdine University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
