Women 4 Technology: Christmas Wine Tasting

Tuesday, December 08 2009, 6:15pm - 8:30pm

Bailey Fisher is delighted to announce the final Women 4 Technology event of 2009, a festive wine tasting evening at Hotel Felix, Cambridge on Tuesday 8 December from 6.15pm until 8.30pm.

Guests will be able to sample a range of fine wines from the cellar of independent wine merchants Corney & Barrow, who will also lead a team quiz to add an element of light-hearted competition to the evening.

Women 4 Technology has nominated The Campaign for Female Education (Camfed) as its charity for 2009, and are pleased to welcome a representative from Camfed to the event, to say a few words about the work being undertaken by the charity in the fields of education and technology.  Camfed is an international charity dedicated to eradicating poverty and fighting HIV/Aids in Africa through educating girls and empowering young women. £1 from each ticket purchased for the wine tasting will be donated to Camfed.

Bailey Fisher would like to thank everyone for their support of the women 4 technology events in 2009 and we look forward to continued growth during 2010. We are currently putting together a list of inspirational speakers for next year.

Format for the evening:

Networking over drinks & canapés: 6.15 – 6.45pm
Camfed presentation: 6.45 – 7.00pm
Wine tasting: 7.00 – 8.00pm and presentation of prize
Networking: 8.00pm onwards

About Women 4 Technology

The idea behind Women 4 Technology is to offer female decision makers in the technology sector an opportunity to meet with their peers to discuss issues of relevance to their role in a very relaxed setting.  Attendance has grown from 25 at the first event in April 2009, to over 50 at the most recent event in September.  "Women 4 Technology is an impressive, high-octane organisation, with plenty of chief executives and senior level women. It's run by increasingly high profile headhunter Bailey Fisher." Jenny Chapman, Business Editor, Cambridge News

Women 4 Technology is organised by Bailey Fisher ~ Executive Search and takes place with support from La Playa, NatWest and PEM Technology.
