As a result of this he has worked with over 400 businesses in workshops, consulting assignments and as coach, mentor and non-executive director. He also has extensive experience of teaching executive courses for owners of SMEs. Dr Vyakarnam has carried out over twenty research projects for Training and Enterprise Councils, Government Offices, the SBS, the United Nations (FAO) and the British Council. He is Director of the Institute of Small Business Affairs (ISBA), and Non-Executive Director of Burall. Dr Vyakarnam is on the editorial board of the International Small Business Journal and the Journal of Strategic Change. After completing his PhD at the Cranfield School of Management, Dr Vyakarnam stayed there as a member of faculty for ten years before taking up a Chair in Enterprise at Nottingham Business School, where he is now a visiting professor. From April 2001 to August 2003, Dr Vyakarnam was Teaching Programme Director of the Cambridge Enterpreneurship Centre (CEC). For more information and to register, please click here.
