Astia Investor Advisory Council Meeting

The role of the Investor Advisory Council is five-fold:

• Sourcing – we look to Council members to refer women-led deals for participation in the Astia community.
• Screening – we invite Council members to participate in the screening of our applicants (Silicon Valley, New York, London, Bangalore).
• Strategy – we seek guidance from Council members as to the current state of investment. Once a year we will bring the full Council together for a brainstorming and strategy session (May 25, 2011).
• Network  – we look to the Council to extend the Astia network in to the investment and entrepreneur community.
• Brand and Name  – we ask Council members to lend their name and organization brand to Astia as an endorsement of the organization.
