Since its founding in December 2008, NACUE already engages over 40 university enterprise societies across the country - representing in excess of 20,000 university students interested in entrepreneurship. NACUE aims to: * support the sustainable development of university enterprise societies and student ventures; * inspire, educate and train university enterprise society leaders and student entrepreneurs; * connect university enterprise leaders and student entrepreneurs online and in person; and, * advocate for the increased support of student enterprise, both in individual universities and at a national level. NACUE will be implementing a range of programmes, events and online resources in the coming few months that will give long term support to enterprise society leaders and student entrepreneurs. By opening communication channels, facilitating the development of new societies and providing cutting-edge national programming, NACUE enables individual societies to become more ambitious and have access to more resources; thus, accelerating their unique development. The network includes undergraduates, graduates, MBA students, active alumni, and external members. ![]() The Next Women The Next Women online magazine is the female side of thenextweb.org, Businessweek, techcrunch.com, and FT.com and the business side of Red, Vanity Fair and Harpers Bazaar. The Next Women is creating an international cross media platform about women in business, aimed at female (future) founders, CxO’s and VC’s of internet companies. Their focus is on startups and growing internet businesses, be it in the media, service, retail, communication or any other industry. The Next Women is creating a platform in which it will discuss business topics from a female angle. Also, it will profile female heroes in business, and make them notable and quotable. ![]() TiE TiE, a not-for-profit global network of entrepreneurs and professionals, was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley, California, USA. Although its birth name, The Indus Entrepreneurs, signifies the ethnic South Asian or Indus roots of the founders, TiE stands for Talent, Ideas and Enterprise. It is an open and inclusive organization that has rapidly grown to more than forty five chapters in ten countries. TiE endeavors to cultivate and nurture the ecosystems of entrepreneurship and free-market economies everywhere, as it sees this to be the single most powerful instrument of prosperity. ![]() UK Resource Centre for Women The UKRC for Women in science, engineering or technology works to significantly improve the participation and position of women in science, engineering and technology occupations in industry, research, academia and public service to benefit the future productivity of the UK and the lifetime earnings and career aspirations of women.
