Program Overview

About Astia India

Astia India was launched in Fall 2008 by a planning committee headed by individuals with roots in the Indus region who had witnessed first hand the benefits of the Astia model in other markets.  Astia’s expansion into India, as is the case for all of Astia’s growth, was driven by this regionally-focused interest in creating an ecosystem to the benefit of women-led entrepreneurs.  This ecosystem would both provide linkages within India, but equally important, linkages to Silicon Valley and the other Astia communities around the globe.

Astia India Objective

To promote women in high-growth entrepreneurship and ensure their success.

About Astia Communities

Astia is not a women’s network – we are a community of men and women working together to deliver results for the clients we serve.

Astia connects entrepreneurs to investors, industry leaders, advisors, and service providers encircling the entrepreneur with a comprehensive value-ad network that delivers exceptional results with more than 60% of the clients achieving funding or an exit within one year of engaging in the Astia program.

I am Astia is a moniker worn today by over 500 individuals in Silicon Valley – including some of the most prominent names in Venture Capital and entrepreneurship.  Similarly Astia communities in New York, London and now in Bangalore, are growing in prestige and numbers to the benefit of exceptional women-led, high-growth companies.
