For those who don't know.  Astia has come to NYC.

Astia is a not-for-profit focused on helping startups that have women on their leadership teams succeed.  They do this through providing the companies with mentorship and capital introductions.  It's worth noting that while a female does need to be involved in the leadership team of the startup she does not need to be the CEO, making Astia relevant to a fairly broad swath of startups in the marketplace that need help.
