Google for Entrepreneurs celebrates Astia’s mission on International Women’s Day to ensure diversity and inclusion in the global innovation ecosystem
Google for Entrepreneurs, which provides financial support and the best of Google resources for its partners to support entrepreneurs around the world, renewed for a fourth consecutive year, its partnership with Astia on International Women’s Day.
“Astia levels the playing field for women entrepreneurs by providing access to capital and networks for the companies they lead. We are fortunate to have Google for Entrepreneurs continue to validate our mission and champion our shared values. We value inclusion, innovation, and investment as positive forces for change,” commented Sharon Vosmek, CEO of Astia.
“Our partnership with Astia supports our goals of diversity and inclusion in the tech industry and strengthens the Google for Entrepreneurs Partner Network. We are excited that Astia’s deep relationship among entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders helps talented women entrepreneurs gain access capital,” said Genna McKeel, Partnerships Manager for Google for Entrepreneurs.
The Astia Expert Sift™ process is key to Astia’s success and relies on over 5,000 expert volunteers from around the world who curate and advise companies founded and led by women. Through this partnership, Astia is able to work with all Google for Entrepreneurs network partners; magnifying substantially Astia’s reach and impact.
“We value the network that Google for Entrepreneurs brings to the table, especially with its physical campuses around the world and connections to more than 50 partners.
