Managing Partner, Astia Fund
Evie is a Managing Director of Astia, a global organization that levels the investment playing field for entrepreneurial teams with women leaders. Evie is one of four members of the Investment Team for the Astia Fund, an early stage venture fund investing in women-led companies. Alongside, Evie manages Astia’s direct investment activity through an international LP base made up of family offices and high net worth women and men investing in companies with women leaders. In this role, Evie is responsible for dealflow curation, deal execution and portfolio management for the global group.
Evie joined Astia in April 2008 and led the organization’s international expansion in addition to operational roles. Prior to Astia, Evie was a banking and finance lawyer having qualified in England and Wales, working in both private practice with international legal practice Osborne Clarke, as well as in-house at Barclays Capital investment bank.
Evie sits on the UK Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs that was formed out of the 2019 Alison Rose review of female entrepreneurship commissioned by the UK Treasury and is an Advisor to FemTech Lab, Europe's first FemTech focused accelerator. Evie has an LLB, Law from the University of Manchester and passed the Legal Practice Course with distinction at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
