Managing Partner, Astia Fund
Evie is a Managing Partner of the Astia Fund, one of four members of the Investment Team deploying this early stage venture fund investing in women-led companies. In this role, Evie is responsible for dealflow curation, deal execution and portfolio management.
Evie joined Astia in April 2008 and led the organization’s international expansion, later going on to co-manage Astia’s direct investment activity through an international LP base made up of family offices and high net worth women and men investing in companies with women leaders. Prior to Astia, Evie was a banking and finance lawyer having qualified in England and Wales, working in both private practice with international legal practice Osborne Clarke, as well as in-house at Barclays Capital investment bank.
Evie sits on the UK Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs that was formed out of the 2019 Alison Rose review of female entrepreneurship commissioned by the UK Treasury and is an Advisor to FemTech Lab, Europe's first FemTech focused accelerator. Evie has an LLB, Law from the University of Manchester and passed the Legal Practice Course with distinction at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
