Karina Ratra

Karina is currently an undergraduate student at American University in Washington, D.C., studying Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government. Along with her passions for public speaking and social justice, she hopes to pursue a future in business, finance, or politics and empower young women to help advance gender equality. In 2022, she delivered a TEDx talk, "Empowering Women, Empowering Humanity," which discusses the importance of coming together in order to shatter stereotypes that are hindering powerful women leaders. The values Karina stands for have allowed her to become an active and passionate leader in her community, but her journey in the movement towards equality is not over yet.
